Design notes
============

Draworg was designed with build123d. All 3D parts are defined in the ``draworg``
Python module (``src/draworg.py``) as parametric ``BasePartObject`` subclasses.

Documentation
-------------

Draworg uses the Sphinx documentation generator. RST source files are in
``doc/source``. SVG figures are generated from the build123d scripts in
``doc/source/schemes``.

Release script
--------------

The ``bin/make-release.sh`` script builds the Python package, documentation, and
meshes. It then creates XZ and ZIP archives containing the meshes and
documentation. The script should be run at the root of the repository.

Prior art
---------

Draworg was designed without any research into prior art, as one of a small
number of projects to learn 3D design. There might be better, free drawer
organisers…
